State Administrative Bishop H. B. Thompson
was appointed to serve as our State Administrative Bishop at the 2008 General Assembly.
This is not his first appointment to Arizona. He served as State Youth and Christian Education Director here
from 1969-1972. Brother Thompson also has been an Overseer in Illinois. He comes to us with tremendous
experience from pastoring, evangelizing, and has served as President of West Coast Bible College.
He is truly a pastor's pastor.
Ministries President Grace Thompson
was appointed as the Arizona Women's Ministries President in August of 2008. Prior to this
appointment Sister Thompson has served as W. M. President in Illinois, Girls Club Coordinator in
Arizona and Illinois, and has been a pastors wife. Grace has served beside her husband in many
different areas in the Church of God. She brings great wisdom and strength. They have 4 Children and
8 grandchildren. Sister Grace looks forward to working with Women of Arizona.
State Youth and CE Director Nathan LaFon
was appointed to serve as the Arizone Youth and Christian Education director in October of 2008. Prior to this appointment Nathan has served as Children's Pastor at Cathedral Christian Center. Nathan has three children Koby, Amanda and a child on the way. Nathan and Amy bring a passion for young people with a desire to work for the Lord. They are excited to serve in Arizona with all the wonderful youth and youth pastors.
Girls Clubs Coordinator, YCE Secretary & Receptionist Amy LaFon
was appointed as the Girls Club Coordinator in October of 2008. Prior to this appointment Amy served with her husband Nathan at Cathedral Christian Center. Amy is a registered nurse and a mother of three Koby, Amanda and one on the way. Amy is very excited and eager to see what the Lord will do in Arizona. She is excited and ready to serve expecting God to do great things in the young people here.
